I saw this morning on a blog about an October challenge. I am going to try and intentionally focus on slowing down and spending time making my home a haven for my family. I am starting this morning on trying to pray often for peace in my house this week.
My middlest girl wants the pink room and it is time for her to learn that she is able to sleep on her own. The girls and I are going to try and get the clothes situated for fall and get the rooms switched over this week. Thankfully the oldest doesn't mind sharing a room with her youngest sister.
Well, I better get this morning going! I pray everyone's day is blessed and full of God's grace.

Hello
This is for me. I need and want some way to get my thoughts out and to maybe just get a little bit of feedback. I am a thankful and happy stay-at-home mother leader to three beautiful girls. I am thankfully married to a wonderful God fearing husband (for the second time) and am trying to learn how to be a good wife. I am homeschooling my kindergartener and my sixth grader, who we took out of private school to bring home this year. I keep house like a frat guy in my husband's words. I feel like I have no idea which way to go most of the time. I am thankful to just make it through the day with everybody healthy and mostly happy. I am also wanting to work from home and become more of a self-sustaining family. This is me.
I will be posting about where my journey with my three girls is going. I am interested in finding something that works to help us learn to work together as a family. I want to tackle arranging and organizing our house so that it works better for us. I would love to gain some ground in the kitchen so I can start to prepare meals for my family without feeling like I am just getting by. I want to get some kind of a system around for our school so we don't feel like we are sinking sometimes.
So to those out there in the cyber world who will read this, I hope you find some kind of encouragement. I am not perfect and I continue to learn new things everyday. I am still growing to the Christ-like person God intends for me to become. I am trying to raise my girls the right way. I am not perfect in this but I am hoping that I can do a good job.
